A right royal rock machine — now unveiled in Purple Reign.
The WGA Monarch features a double cutaway solid Basswood body finished in a deep metallic Purple Reign sparkle, a brand-new colourway inspired by the drama, elegance, and attitude of Prince’s Purple Rain era. Under stage or studio lighting, the finish erupts with fine purple metallic fleck; in softer light, it settles into a rich, regal violet that oozes character and presence.
Cream binding frames the body beautifully, paired with a cream scratchplate that sets off the purple shimmer perfectly — vintage elegance with unmistakably modern attitude.
A three-ply Mahogany set neck supports a sustainably sourced roasted Jatoba fretboard, adorned with abalone Wolf paw-print inlays that dance with colour as the light moves. It’s a subtle but unmistakable signature detail, tying the instrument visually back to the Wolf Guitars Australia identity.
Electronics are equally bold. Three Wolftone DLX Tri-Sonic–style ceramic single coils deliver everything from thick, authoritative rock tones to articulate blues and shimmering cleans. The middle pickup is reverse-wound / reverse-polarity, and the Monarch’s six two-way selector switches give you serious control: the upper three toggle pickups on and off, while the lower three manage phase reversal, all paired with a single master volume and tone control.
Abalone Wolf Paw fretboard detailing leads the eye up to a gloss black Wolf Snout–shaped headstock, crowned with the abalone shell Wolf Guitars Australia logo, creating a striking contrast against the purple sparkle neck finish.
